Ulysses: A Dark Odyssey DVD

Imprisoned for seven years, Ulysses (Andrea Zirio) escapes and returns back home to discover that his wife, Penelope (Anamaria Marinca) is held captive, by the underworld boss of Tauru City, Mr Ocean (Danny Glover).

With his comrade Niko (Drew Kenney) in tow, Ulysses journeys through the underbelly of the city to find her, encountering surreal and disturbing figures along the way: the violent and bloody kebab store owner, Popov, drug dealer Aeo, "god of the winds", the enigmatic and beautiful transsexual Hermes, the charming mistress Cici, the Seer (Skin) who knows Ulysses' story, the seductive Kaly (Charlotte Kirk) and finally Alcyde (Udo Kier) whom, having heard his story, decides to help in his quest.

Pushed to his physical and mental limits, will Ulysses find Penelope and feel whole again?
