GENEVIEVE: Alan McKim (John Gregson) is the proud owner of 'Genevieve', a vintage car. His enthusiasm is not shared by his wife, Wendy (Dinah Sheridan), but she is prepared to accompany him on the annual London to Brighton race. But as he tunes up his pride and joy, Ambrose Claverhouse (Kenneth More), an old friend and his girlfriend Rosalind (Kay Kendall), arrives in his veteran car. He makes various jibes about Alan's car which ignites a row between Alan and Wendy. For the McKim's and Genevieve, the race turns out to be one disaster after another.

REACH FOR THE SKY: The remarkable true story of Douglas Bader, a pilot in the RAF who overcomes every obstacle to prove his worth. He is a young and ambitious pilot who, after a plane crash, is badly injured. Although doctors expect him to die, he survives but loses both his legs. As his colleagues prepare for his horror and devastation, they find instead a determination in him which refuses to be changed by the accident. He re-enters the RAF where he is determined to continue his career as a pilot.

A NIGHT TO REMEMBER: Classic documentary drama based on Walter Lord's book about the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Told from the perspective of Second Officer Charles Lightoller, the story follows the supposedly 'unsinkable' ship as she embarks on her maiden voyage and ultimately founders in the North Atlantic Ocean.

NORTH WEST FRONTIER: Captain Scott is sent by the British Governor to rescue a five-year-old Prince and his American Governess, Catherine Wyatt (Lauren Bacall), when a rebellion breaks out amongst the tribesmen. Scott is instructed to take the child to safety in Kalapur, which is 300 miles away, on the pretext that while he is alive, no rebellion can succeed. They are forced to travel on an old and fragile train, but it soon becomes clear that the danger from the train is the least of their worries. Someone on the train is trying to kill the prince.
