Michael Caine gives a stylish and highly acclaimed performance as Harry Palmer, a man caught up in the ferocious high-stakes world of international espionage. For the first time, all three original 1960's films are brought together in one collection, with bonus features worthy of further investigation.
THE IPCRESS FILE (1965): Tasked with investigating the kidnappings and brainwashed reappearances of top scientists, including Dr Radcliffe (Aubrey Richards), the insubordinate British spy Harry Palmer (Michael Caine) navigates his way through criminals, secret agents, and his superiors (Nigel Green, Guy Doleman). While attempting to bring in the suspect Bluejay (Frank Gatliff), Palmer discovers a mysterious audiotape labelled "IPCRESS", an inconspicuous, but ominous, piece of evidence.
FUNERAL IN BERLIN (1966): Spy Harry Palmer's assignment is to smuggle a Russian agent who is defecting to the West across the Berlin Wall and back to England--in a coffin. However, Harry discovers that the Russian may not be all he appears.
BILLION DOLLAR BRAIN (1967): Harry Palmer (Michael Caine) is a former British secret agent who has taken up work as a private detective. An anonymous party hires him to deliver a seemingly normal package to Helsinki. However, he learns that he has been deceived into working for the Secret Service again, and is actually returning stolen virus-infected eggs to a government lab. Palmer is then persuaded to thwart a manic Texas oil baron (Ed Begley) who is planning to attack the Soviet Union with a supercomputer.
