The Chase DVD

When 'Bubber' Reeves (Robert Redford) escapes from a Texas prison, the mood in his nearby hometown reaches boiling point. sheriff Calder (Marlon Brando) wants to capture Reeves alive, but most of the townsfolk are hell-bent on delivering vigilante retribution. Influential businessman Val Rogers (E.G. Marshall) has stoked tensions--he wants Reeves caught quickly, through any means possible. Rogers fears what the escapee might do if he comes face-to-face with his son, who is romantically involved with Reeves' wife (Jane Fonda).

Sheriff Calder might be the law--but in this town gripped by chaos and division, justice is firmly in the hands of the mob.
