The Bill: Series 15 DVD Box Set

Walking a tightrope between both sides of the law is taking an uncomfortable grip for DS Don Beech (Billy Murray) when a drugs raid goes sour, a suspected Sun Hill leak is investigated and DS Geoff Daly (Ray Ashcroft) has his sights set on "The Don". DS John Boulton's (Russell Boulter) obsession with arresting a pair of savage burglars leads to a life-threatening assault on PC Dave Quinnan (Andrew Paul) and he soon comes to blows with the entire Sun Hill relief. Jim Carver (Mark Wingett) reaches the end of the road with CID when the Metropolitan Police's system of tenure sees his return to uniform. DCI Jack Meadows (Simon Rouse) and DC Rod Skase (Iain Fletcher) travel to France to track down a wife-killer and DCI Frank Burnside (Christopher Ellison) returns to Sun Hill to investigate a series of ambitious robberies, swindles and sex crimes. There is a wedding to celebrate for one Sun Hill stalwart, but PC George Garfield (Huw Higginson) believes he is the rightful best man, PC Luke Ashton (Scott Neal) finds his cowardice strips away the support of the relief and as the millennium comes to an end, uniform and CID spend a night on the beat.
