Ray Liotta is ambitious District Attorney Ford Cole--a man about to be embroiled in a case with many questions, multiple suspects and a growing body count. His problems begin when his assistant DA and part-time lover, Nora Timmer, staggers into a police station covered in blood and claiming to have killed a man in self defence. What seems like a simple case soon unravels into a mystery that involves organised crime and gangland warfare on a grand scale.
