Handsome, witty and extremely talented, Rock Hudson was the embodiment of the Hollywood leading man during his illustrious film career. Join this iconic actor as he lights up the screen with this 10 disc collection showcasing some of his most impressive films.

ONE DESIRE: The one desire of ex-gambler Clint Saunders and bar woman Tacey Cromwell is to escape their shady former lives and settle down to respectability. With Clint's younger brother and an orphaned girl in tow, the couple moves to a Colorado mining town.

WRITTEN ON THE WIND: Mitch Wayne (Rock Hudson) is a geologist working for the Hadley's, an oil-rich Texas family. While the patriarch, Jared (Robert Keith), works hard to establish the family business, his irresponsible son, Kyle (Robert Stack), is an alcoholic playboy, and his daughter, Marylee (Dorothy Malone), is the town tramp. Mitch harbours a secret love for Kyle's unsatisfied wife, Lucy (Lauren Bacall)--a fact that leaves him exposed when the jealous Marylee accuses him of murder.

STRANGE BEDFELLOW: Sparks fly when up-and-coming executive Carter Harrison (Rock Hudson) meets free-spirited artist Toni Vincente (Gina Lollobrigida). They quickly marry, only to discover their differences are too great to overcome. Five years later, a now-separated Carter learns his reputation as a swinging bachelor may hurt his chances at securing a big promotion. Carter's friend Richard Bramwell (Gig Young) encourages him to reconcile with Toni, but her independent streak may jeopardize their love yet again.

ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS: Cary Scott (Jane Wyman) is a widow with two grown children. She's been leading a quiet life since her husband died, socialising with a small circle of friends. Her children no longer live with her full-time but come home every weekend. She's not unhappy but also doesn't realise how bored she is. Her friend Sara Warren encourages her to get a television set to keep her company but she doesn't want that either. She develops a friendship with Ron Kirby who owns his own nursery and comes every spring and fall to trim her trees. Ron is much younger than Cary and their friendship soon turns to love. Her circle of friends are surprised that she is seeing such a younger man and she might be prepared to overlook that--Ron certainly doesn't care about the differences in their ages--but when her son and daughter vehemently object, she decides to sacrifice her own feelings for their happiness.

HAS ANYBODY SEEN MY GAL: Wealthy Samuel Fulton is getting older and has no family of his own. He decides to leave his estate to the family of his first love, who turned down his marriage proposal years ago because he was poor. But he wants to test the family before leaving his money to them. He takes a room in their home and a job in the father's shop. He anonymously grants them $100,000. Harriet Blaisdell moves the family into a mansion and makes plans to marry her daughter Millicent off to a socialite rather than her soda jerk boyfriend Dan. The money goes to their heads, and they soon find themselves broke, back in their old house, and back to their old lives. Father back in his shop, Millicent engaged to Dan, and everyone seemingly much happier. Hoping they learned their lesson, Fulton takes his leave of the family.

MAGNIFICENT OBSESSION: Reckless playboy Robert Merrick (Rock Hudson) is in a boat accident, and his condition requires a resuscitator to save his life. Soon afterward Dr Phillips has a heart attack and needs the same machine. Without it, Dr Phillips dies. Due to his philanthropy and his wife Helen's accident, she (Jane Wyman) has very little money. Merrick then tries to right his wrongs with Helen--falling in love with her in the process--and decides to turn to the study of medicine to become a surgeon.

NEVER SAY GOODBYE: Dr Michael Parker (Rock Hudson), living in California with his daughter, Suzy (Shelley Fabares), is visiting New York when he runs into his former wife, Lisa (Cornell Borchers), who had been presumed dead. Upon seeing him, she runs out into the street in shock, where she's struck by a car. After major surgery, Lisa recovers, and Parker recalls their marriage in post-war Vienna and his fit of jealousy that led to their estrangement. At her hospital bed, he pleads with her to take him back.

SEND ME NO FLOWERS: After eavesdropping on his doctors as they discuss another patient, George (Rock Hudson), a middle-aged hypochondriac, leaves a hospital visit believing he's terminally ill. Assuming he'll soon be dead, George enlists his friend, Arnold (Tony Randall), to help him find a new husband for his wife, Judy (Doris Day). They eventually settle on Bert (Clint Walker), a successful businessman. But George's odd behaviour makes Judy suspect he's covering up an affair.

MAN'S FAVORITE SPORT: Salesman Roger (Rock Hudson) is revered for his ability to sell fishing supplies; he's even authored a book on the art of angling. So, when a fishing tournament comes up, his boss asks him to enter. Too bad he doesn't actually know the first thing about the sport, having never done it himself. Helping him with a crash course in rods and reels is the competition's publicist, Abby (Paula Prentiss), and her friend "Easy" (Maria Perschy)--much to the consternation of Roger's fiance.

THE LAST SUNSET: Fugitive Brendan O'Malley (Kirk Douglas) crosses the Mexican border and heads to the farm of his ex-lover, Belle (Dorothy Malone), where her husband hires him to help with a cattle drive. U.S. Marshall Dana Stribling (Rock Hudson) arrives and, out of his jurisdiction, joins the drive to keep tabs on O'Malley. Enroute to Texas, Belle falls for Stribling, while O'Malley takes an interest in Belle's daughter, Missy (Carol Lynley), unaware that a dark secret could soon unravel everything.
