After seven seasons of friendship, laughs, tears, breakups and makeups, behold the Complete Collection of New Girl, the ensemble comedy that takes a modern look at friendship and romance, as a group of five friends attempt to find their respective places in the world, while begrudgingly accepting the responsibilities of adulthood-with often hilarious results.
Seasons 1 - 4 Subtitles: Has English for the hearing Impaired
SEASON ONE: After a bad breakup, free-spirited optimist Jess (Zooey Deschanel) moves in with three bachelors who have plenty of issues of their own.
Winston (Lamorne Morris) is a former athlete, Nick (Jake Johnson) is a law school dropout and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) is a wannabe womaniser in love with...himself. Together with her super-hot BFF Cece (Hannah Simone), this New Girl discovers that hanging out with the guys can be a challenging and hilarious adventure!
SEASON TWO: The romantic tension between Jess and Nick escalates in the hilarious, quirky second season of New Girl--but will they ever hook up? Meanwhile, Schmidt fails to be hip, Winston isn't "prepared" for a hot date and Nick faces a death in his dysfunctional family. While Jess does her best to replace Cece on a modelling job and a drunk Elvis impersonator at a funeral, Schmidt and Winston hope to rearrange Cece's arranged marriage.
SEASON THREE: Jess and Nick go "all-in" on their romance, but soon realise that loving and living together will be tougher than they thought. Schmidt finds himself in double trouble when he dates Cece and Elizabeth at the same time. Unlucky-in-love Winston makes a special connection...too bad it's only with the roommates' new house cat. Meanwhile, Coach returns and a Thanksgiving adventure turns the guys into turkeys--plus there's the wildly popular "Prince" episode.
SEASON FOUR: Newly single Jess tries to avoid, then hang onto, a sexy British teacher with an adorable accent. Schmidt gets schmid-tten with an ambitious councilwoman, while Nick wants to find a woman who's just like him. The gang takes on tasks proven to be pretty difficult: the new cop on the block, Winston, tries to prove he's a badass and Coach searches for a woman he hasn't already dated. Plus, Jess's middle name and the goofy reason for it, are revealed! The whole lovable ensemble walks the line between acting mature and slightly nuts. And speaking of nuts, will Cece ever admit her feelings for Schmidt?
SEASON FIVE: Although Jess and Nick remain broken up, Schmidt and Cece headed down the aisle. Disaster arrives when the loft becomes an Airbnb, Schmidt's bachelor party hits the road and Cece's judgmental mum shows up. Meanwhile, Jess lands a fantastic teaching gig, only to learn her boss is dating her ex and Winston (Lamorne Morris) gets a great new girlfriend--or does he?
SEASON SIX: The loft-mates celebrated the wedding of Schmidt and Cece as Jess contemplated her renewed romantic feelings toward Nick. Meanwhile, Winston took his pranking to a whole new level and found himself stuck in an actual marriage, while also attempting to get his cat, Furguson, into a Hollywood blockbuster and carrying on an illicit affair with his police partner, Aly (Nasim Pedrad).
SEASON SEVEN: Three years later and Jess and Nick return to Los Angeles. Nick plans to ask Jess to marry him at their apartment, by Jess opening a letter he has sent from Turkey with the ring inside it as a surprise. But first, they have to go to Schmidt's and Cece's house to celebrate the third birthday of their daughter Ruth. At the party, Winston is asking Nick and Jess to help him chose a pregnancy glamour photo of Aly and him, while Nick hates Schmidt's moustache he tells him, but Schmidt doesn't believe it. When finally Jess and Nick return to the apartment, Nick is trying to make Jess open the letter from Turkey, but everyone is interrupting them and a comment from Jess that they are great together and they don't need to risk messing up their relationship, makes Nick retrieve the letter from Jess and postpone the question.
When Nick will finally ask Jess to marry him...Will she accept...
How is life for Schmidt, Cece and their daughter...
How Winston and Aly will prepare themselves for the arrival of their baby...
And how these friends will help each other to overcome their problems.
