The horrific true tale of Christine Lewis (Kerry Mack), a naive 16-year-old who, in 1974 Australia, meets a handsome German immigrant called Walter Maresch (Ralph Schicha).
Quickly married and in over her head, Christine discovers that Walter is a psychotic neo-Nazi who is hell-bent on controlling and manipulating every aspect of her life. Moving her to West Germany to be closer to his circle of Nazi sympathisers, she finds herself in a life of domestic violence, drugs and robbery.
