As Hibiscus faces her final year at university, she continues to live under her Mother's strict and unforgiving rules; "no boyfriend and no going out'. It's something Hibiscus finds easy to follow until guys start to take an interest in her and aim to win her over. Finding herself in unfamiliar territory, Hibiscus calls upon her best friend Ruth, to help get her through the year and hopefully keep everyone including herself happy.
