Ex-con and reformed sociopath Dylan Forrester (Scott Eastwood) is trying to quietly serve out his parole--and with a steady supply of pharmaceuticals and the help of his eccentric psychiatrist (Mel Gibson), it's a case of so far so good! But when he gets news that his brother has died under mysterious circumstances, Dylan breaks free to investigate. With a dogged FBI Agent (Famke Janssen) hot on his trail, he travels to the remote island where his family is living...but also on the way are a band of heavily armed mercenaries, who want something his brother was hiding. Now, unleashing his 'dangerous' side is Dylan's only chance of staying alive long enough to get revenge.
