FROM HERE TO ETERNITY: At an Army barracks in Hawaii in the days preceding the attack on Pearl Harbor, lone-wolf soldier and boxing champion "Prew" Prewitt (Montgomery Clift) refuses to box, preferring to play the bugle instead. Hard-hearted Captain Holmes (Philip Ober) subjects Prew to a gruelling series of punishments while, unknown to Holmes, the gruff but fair Sergeant Warden (Burt Lancaster) engages in a clandestine affair with the captain's mistreated wife (Deborah Kerr).

While war correspondent Werner (Herbert Gronemeyer) observes day-to-day life aboard the U-boat, the grizzled captain (Jurgen Prochnow) struggles to maintain his own motivation as he attempts to keep the ship's morale up in the face of fierce battles, intense storms and dwindling supplies.

FURY: In April 1945, the Allies are making their final push in the European theatre.
